H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Emirates ID Director General, has instructed that the scope of work of the "Investors in People" project be expanded so that focus will be mainly on the Emirates ID-affiliated registration centers, which account for nearly 80 per cent of the Emirates ID's major work.
While presiding over the meeting held by the Emirates Identity Authority to be briefed on the most prominent phases of the "Investors in People" project, Al Khouri called for making an integrated working plan that covers all registration centers in terns of determining the requirements and results and how to measure them. He also called for preparing a handbook that will link each of "Investors in People" criteria with the achievements expected to be made in the Emirates Identity Authority.
Al Khouri underscored the importance of the development and training program for the directors of registration centers and its role in developing administrative skills, improving the methods of dealing with their subordinates, managing working teams and optimizing leadership techniques. The program also contributes to changing the customer service culture as well as upgrading its concepts and promoting its positive practices.
