The Abu Dhabi Municipality has announced its intention to link its services electronically with the Emirates Identity Authority together with a number of other government departments and entities in the upcoming period as part of its efforts to facilitate the mechanism of obtaining services and establish a database for real estates and lands in Abu Dhabi.
In a press release published in the Emarat El Youm newspaper, the municipality pointed out that it started to make it mandatory for holders of valid residences to have their lease contracts authenticated in order to obtain the services of three local departments in the emirate, these being the Department of Economic Development, Department of Transport and Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority.
