The Emirates Identity Authority announced that Nathersha Mohamed Sadiq, a Dubai resident, was the 2nd winner of the weekly cultural contest of the holy month of Ramadan.
Sadiq won an iPad3, which is given out by the Emirates ID on a weekly basis, after his name was drawn at random at the Emirates ID headquarters in Abu Dhabi today. There was a total of XXXX contestants who gave the right answer to the question "where is the old Name of Ras Al Khaima Emirate?” His answer was “Julfar".
The Emirates ID poses a question in Arabic and English on its website and on its pages on Facebook and Twitter as part on its cultural contest launched weekly during the month of Ramadan. Participants have the opportunity to win an iPad 3 every week during Ramadan.
The Emirates ID encourages visitors of its website to participate in its new weekly cultural contest and choose the right answer to the question, "What is the name of pearl merchant in the Gulf?" to be considered for next week's raffle and get the opportunity to win an iPad3.
