The Emirates Identity Authority's employees across the UAE have taken the legal oath of the federal government employees based on Emirates ID's commitment to the executive regulation no. 13 for 2012 of the federal decree no. 11 for 2008 on human resources at the federal governments and its amendments.
The Emirates ID's employees have taken the legal oath in a subsequent step to the oath taken last week by the members of the Higher Management Committee at the Emirates Identity Authority as well as the directors of its departments and sections, led by H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Emirates ID Director General.
Al Khouri affirmed that the Higher Management Committee and all the directors and staff of the Emirates ID were proud to take the legal oath of the federal government employees in embodiment of their loyalty to the UAE and its prudent leadership under President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may Allah protect him, their respect of the UAE Constitution and their abidance by the Emirates Identity Authority's laws, which stipulate its funds to be protected and its secrets to be kept confidential.
Al Khouri valued the efforts exerted by the directors and employees of all the Emirates ID's departments and affiliated registration centers to track the process of taking the resolved oath by all the Emirates ID employees. He also called on them to speed up collecting the signatures of the Emirates ID family members for inclusion in the employees' files, underlining the necessity for them to familiarize the employees of the code of professional conduct and enhance the no-quit culture.
The legal oath of the federal government employees reads as follows:
"I swear by Almighty Allah to be loyal to the United Arab Emirates and its President; to respect its Constitution; abide by the laws, regulations and systems of the Emirates Identity Authority which I work for; do my utmost to safeguard its money; perform my work honestly and conscientiously; and keep the secrets of work and the information I view or get."
