The Emirates Identity Authority has announced its intention to provide registration and ID card issuance services in the headquarters of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Hatta City with the aim of delivering its services to all the customers of the city and neighboring areas. The move comes as part of the Emirates ID's keenness on meeting the needs of customers and providing the best services to them.

This was announced in a press release published by Al Khaleej newspaper on the sidelines of an inspection visit paid yesterday by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may Allah save him, to Hatta City, where he visited the hospital and municipality as well as Hatta border checkpoint, which links the UAE with Oman.

During his tour, Sheikh Mohammed inspected the GDRFA center adjacent to the municipality building where he listened to an explanation about the well-designed center's services and working hours that extend to 8pm.
