The Emirates Identity Authority received the first of the palm trees that Sheikh Zayed Housing Program distributed on its partners of federal and local government organizations and private sector establishments in solidarity with the "Union Tree" initiative launched by the UAE prudent leadership concurrently with the UAE's 41st National Day.

The palm tree was received on behalf of the Emirates ID by Mr. Omer Al Maamari, Supervisor of Dubai and Northern Emirates Centers, based on the Emirates ID's keenness on enhancing the partnership relations with the federal government authorities, departments and organizations and instilling the values of loyalty, belonging and patriotism.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may Allah save him, launched an initiative to plant the "Union Tree" by posting pictures of the "Union Tree" on his Twitter account, a tree that he planted in Dar Al Ittihad in Dubai along with a group of children. HH Sheikh Mohammed asked citizens to plant the tree in homes and in government and private facilities, "to take care of it and to take care of the Union."
